Careful, cuz. I have been working pretty hard to show some depressed people here some love. Enjoy your own happiness-but no salt in their wounds, yes?
Oh my gosh! I love the Christmas season!!!!!!!!!!! And I'm having a great time so far...I've done some volunteer work to help some families have a nice Christmas, I've done some shopping for gifts for family and friends, I've been to one party and have another one this weekend, I'm hostessing Christmas for some family and friends, I get to see my kids, I've been singing loudly to Christmas songs.....wanna' hear anymore?
There are reasons this time of year can be depressing for me...like the year one of my sisters died on Christmas Eve and her husband ask me to go tell our parents what happened. That was a tough tough Christmas.
But, I try to find the joy this time of year.
And I find a lot of it in the giving.

@FallingSafely - @RighteousBruin - Looking back, it may have been a bit unclear, but I was really poking fun at myself with everything in this post. This was one of those late night posts where I was half coherent and just trying to get my thoughts out as best as possible.
@AdamsWomanFell - You got the right idea! I am ready to get into that state of mind myself. I have been in a bit of a funk, but I see myself coming out of it now. There is only so much time left before the season is gone.
